This is the second of our new Red Flag Note reports which take a quick look at points of concern we noticed after our first pass of screening SEC filings for earnings quality problems.
Given Autodesk’s ($ADSK’s) recent accounting-related problems, we wanted to weigh in on the delay of its 10-K filing and the reasons given. We also noted another item of concern after a first pass through the numbers.
As with all Red Flag Notes, we caution that this report does not represent a full earnings quality review of the company. We may perform more work on the ADSK and will follow up with any additional concerns.
